In February 2012, HZB visited the town of St. Marc in Haiti. We were hosted by Touch Ministries – Pastor Gary Walker, and his wife, Dr. Carolyn Walker, who have established an English-based school, an orphanage, and a Bible college.
HZB ministered twice at El Shaddai School during their chapel service, and witnessed many children surrender their lives to Christ. HZB also had the opportunity to visit the orphanage and see firsthand the work being done by Touch Ministries in the lives of these children.
We were privileged to minister twice at seminars aimed at teaching about honoring the person of the Holy Spirit. As a result, wrong beliefs and teachings that plague the church there were demolished, and a large number of people received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. HZB was also invited to minister in Port-au-Prince, and lead church services for five consecutive days in the town of St. Marc. The people there proved committed to their Christian walk, and hungry for the Word of God. They came every day in large numbers, walking long distances to participate.
It is reported that recently more people are attending church in Haiti than ever before. These are special times for the country, and the field is ripe for harvest. God is moving in a unique way, and HZB must prepare for the deluge of souls coming into the Kingdom. We are eager to continue our ministry there in 2012 through Bible instruction, food and clothes drive, and any other program that becomes feasible.

“Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called HEPHZIBAH and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.” (Isaiah 62:4)
Dominican Republic Mission Report - January 2012
HZB visited Santiago in January 2012 to follow up on the growth of the church, and to establish a leadership training program.
We are happy to report that the church has grown spiritually and in numbers, with a membership of about 104. Two groups of children attend Sunday school. Sunday activities consist of Bible studies for adults and children, followed by a two-hour service. The highlights this past year include the creation of a new praise and worship group, several water baptisms, the celebration of various marriages, and the dedication of new babies to the Lord.
In January 2012, HZB was privileged to launch a leadership training program to train new leaders, so they can go out and train others. Our students are eager and committed.
We will continue our outreach to the different communities in and around Santiago through Bible instruction, leadership training, food and clothes distribution, as well as any other program that becomes feasible.
