For many years the nation of Haiti has endured much hardship, but in the past year, the adversities that have plagued the country - earthquake, floods, cholera outbreak, and now civil unrest - have resulted in great destruction and intense suffering for the Haitian people.
Even so, God's plans and purposes for Haiti shall be fulfilled. Haiti shall live! As we stand together ready and willing to intercede for the nation, God will form in us the vision of a reborn Haiti - the new "Hephzibah" or delight of God. He will use our intercession as catalyst to "rebuild the ancient ruins, restore the places long devastated; renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations." (Isa. 61:4)
As God's appointed watchmen, our participation is indeed most valuable. For Haiti's sake, we will stand united, and not keep silent until this beautiful island is made a praise in the earth.

Father God, we come to You in the Name of Jesus, joined together by Your Spirit, to present to You the nation of Haiti. We thank You for Your love for this country, and for the great privilege we have to work together with You in rebuilding the land and transforming it into a place of peace and prosperity.
In Jesus' Name, we come against the darkness over Haiti. We call upon Your Holy Spirit to brood over the land and for Your light to dissipate the darkness. We invoke the blood of Jesus to make a new and living way for Haiti. Let a new Haiti arise, in Jesus' Mighty Name. Father, we release Your Spirit of love, of righteousness, of unity, and of peace in the lives of the Haitian people. We thank You for filling the land with Your presence, for glorifying Your Name, and for restoring the glory of Haiti.
To You Father be all praise, glory, and honor, for doing so much more than we can ask for, or think of. In Jesus' Mighty Name. Amen!
